Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Lead Patient Access position to coordinate scheduling, insurance verification and multi-site access. You will act as the primary contact for access to USC medical centers, lead daily huddles, and ensure HIPAA compliant communication across channels.

The role includes remote work as deployed and frequent collaboration with care teams. The ideal candidate will guide a team, balance workloads, and drive first-call resolution while maintaining high customer service

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a call center or healthcare customer service setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for access to USC academic medical centers and Health Sciences Campus.
• Lead the Patient Access Center team, assign duties, balance workload and run daily huddles.
• Handle service recovery and screen/direct calls, messages, and emails per policy.
• Schedule medical appointments, verify insurance and advise patient financial responsibility.
