Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a senior Field-based Case Coordinator to own end-to-end patient case management for reimbursement and access across HUB partners, payers, and providers. You will guide patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on coverage options, including prior authorizations and appeals, while coordinating with IQVIA/MDX and vendors to ensure timely outcomes.

The role requires extensive knowledge of copay programs, PDPA/VFM products, and PA workflows, with 8+ years in pharma

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree with 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience in customer-facing roles/functions.
• 6 months minimum as FRM, PAC, FAS or similar in access and reimbursement with Polaris.
• Proficiency in Polaris for case management and PA/appeal documentation.
• Strong ability to communicate directly with patients, providers, and cross-functional colleagues.
• Experience conducting benefit investigations with payers and knowledge of prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Knowledge of copay programs, maximizers, and accumulators; vouchers.
• Ability to manage high-volume cases across the patient journey; strong documentation.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% and operate in Central time zone.

Responsibilities

• Own a high-volume of patient cases from enrollment to post-fill follow-up.
• Serve as primary contact for patients, caregivers, and providers on reimbursement and access.
• Explain access and coverage questions and guide patients/caregivers.
• Coordinate with HUB partners, IQVIA/MDX, and vendors to resolve cases.
• Oversee BI/BV calls with payers and patients for 3rd party restricted cases.
• Manage prior authorization, voucher, and interim care program processes.
