Job summary

micro1 is seeking Passport Acceptance Agents for a remote, short-term contract to support AI system evaluation on passport topics. You will leverage front-counter experience to validate whether questions and answers emulate real applicants, with a focus on accuracy and usefulness.

Ideal candidates have active or recent passport acceptance duties and 1+ years of public-facing experience, with strong writing skills and the ability to work 20–30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Current or recent passport acceptance agent designation.
• 1+ years helping the public with passport applications.
• Working knowledge of forms, fees, ID and citizenship documents, and rules for minors.
• US-based.
• Able to start quickly and commit 20-30 hours/week.
• Clear, precise writing.

Responsibilities

• Review sample passport questions and flag items not resembling real applicant needs.
• Write rubrics that define correct, complete answers for applications, renewals, and replacements.
• Cover identity and citizenship documents, photo requirements, and minors in rubrics.
• Evaluate AI-generated answers against rubrics, flag errors or omissions.
• Share clear written feedback with the project team, asynchronously.
