Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is seeking Passport Acceptance Agents for a fully remote, short-term project. This contractor role requires a US-based candidate who has an active passport acceptance designation and prior public-facing experience.

Expect to review questions, write rubrics, and evaluate AI responses with meticulous accuracy. You will contribute by drafting clear guidelines covering forms, fees, ID documents, and minor applications, while collaborating asynchronously with the team.

Qualifications

• Current or recent passport acceptance agent designation.
• 1+ years helping the public with passport applications.
• Knowledge of forms, fees, ID and citizenship documents, and rules for minors.
• US-based.
• Able to start quickly and commit 20-30 hours/week.
• Clear, precise writing.

Responsibilities

• Review sample passport questions and flag any that don’t sound like real applicants.
• Write rubrics that define a correct answer on applications, renewals, and replacements, including forms, fees, and processing options.
• Cover identity and citizenship documents, photo requirements, and applications for minors in your rubrics.
• Evaluate AI-generated answers against your rubrics, flagging errors, omissions, and outdated guidance.
• Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.
