Job summary

Kiva.org is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support by cultivating individual donors, philanthropic advisors, and donor-advised funds. You will collaborate across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to strengthen donor relationships, craft compelling proposals, and report on impact.

In this role you will manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors, plan and host events, and work with colleagues to optimize donor journeys and digital communications

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising or strategic partnerships.
• Strong writing and editing skills translating programs into donor materials.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects.
• Comfort with CRM such as Salesforce and using engagement data to track activity and reports.
• Sound judgment and relationship-building with donors and partners.
• Commitment to Kiva's mission and values including financial inclusion and equity.

Responsibilities

• Grow philanthropic support by cultivating individual donors and donor-advised fund partners.
• Develop compelling donor communications and supporting proposals and reporting.
• Manage a portfolio of mid-level and major-tier donors with support from Strategic Partnerships colleagues.
• Collaborate across Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to improve donor experiences.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events to deepen engagement.
• Coordinate website journeys and digital communications to showcase offerings.
