Job summary

Kiva.org is seeking a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to grow philanthropic support by cultivating donors, advising philanthropic partners, and developing compelling donor communications.

As an individual contributor on the Strategic Partnerships team, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance, Marketing and Communications, Product and Engineering to strengthen donor relationships, improve the giving experience, and support proposals and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, able to translate complex programs into proposals.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects independently.
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce to track activity and generate reports.
• Sound judgment and strong relationship-building skills in donor interactions.
• Commitment to Kiva’s mission including financial inclusion and equity.

Responsibilities

• Grow philanthropic support by cultivating individual donors and developing donor communications.
• Work with colleagues across Finance, Marketing and Communications, Product and Engineering to strengthen donor relationships, proposals and reporting.
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual donor events with the Strategic Partnerships team.
• Maintain donor records and track relationship activity, pipelines, and progress toward fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing to coordinate donor messaging across audiences and channels.
• Use campaign and event results to improve outreach and donor engagement.
