Job summary

Kiva.org is a global nonprofit expanding financial access. The Manager, Strategic Partnerships will grow philanthropic support by cultivating individual donors and advising donor-advised funds, collaborating across Finance, Marketing, and product teams to strengthen donor relationships and reporting.

You will manage a portfolio of mid-level and major donors, develop compelling proposals and communications, and plan events to deepen engagement while aligning with Kiva’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, strategic partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to translate programs into proposals and communications.
• Experience collaborating across functions and managing multiple projects independently.
• Comfort using a CRM such as Salesforce to track activity, run reports, and refine strategies.
• Sound judgment, relationship-building skills, and commitment to Kiva’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor communications and proposals for mid-level and major donors.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and philanthropic advisors.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Product and Engineering to enhance donor experiences.
• Plan and deliver donor events, both in-person and virtual, to deepen engagement.
• Maintain donor records, pipelines, and progress toward fundraising goals.
