Job summary

Cover Whale Insurance Solutions is seeking a Business Development Associate for a fully remote role focused on managing partners, shaping growth, and providing insights from quarterly reviews. You will drive outreach across calls, email, LinkedIn, and in-person cadences, and help onboard new customers to realize value.

The position requires 3+ years in insurance/trucking, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience with data tools like Metabase.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the insurance and/or commercial trucking field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Experience with Metabase or similar data-analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of emerging and lower-volume partners, building relationships and driving performance.
• Research target markets and prospective partners to support pipeline.
• Establish and report KPIs while aiming to exceed goals.
• Support onboarding processes and partner management improvements.
• Maintain accurate partner data in HubSpot and track interactions.
• Travel 10–15% within the North East region as needed.
