Cover Whale Insurance Solutions is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth with partners in the North East region. This fully remote role focuses on onboarding, engagement, and strategic growth across trading partners, with a data-driven approach using KPIs.

You will collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and growth teams, manage a portfolio of partners, and support pipeline development through market research and competitive insights. Expect travel 10–15% within the region.

Competenze

• 3+ years in insurance and/or commercial trucking required.
• Experience onboarding and guiding customers to realize and repeat value.
• Excellent communication and ability to discuss technical/business topics.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, and growth to develop distribution strategies and generate partner premium.
• Manage a portfolio of emerging and lower-volume partners, building relationships and driving performance.
• Research target markets, prospective partners, and competitive intelligence to support pipeline.
• Grow existing partner relationships and identify new engagement opportunities.
• Establish, track, and report KPIs while meeting or exceeding goals.
• Support continuous improvement of BD, partner management, and onboarding processes.
• Represent Cover Whale positively to trading partners and prospects through outreach.
• Support regional events and logistics for retail-focused engagements.
• Monitor partner performance and risks, escalating opportunities as needed.
• Maintain accurate partner data in HubSpot.
