Job summary

Relocity in Portland, ME is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide relocating employees through every stage of their move, balancing remote support with in-person client visits across the city.

You will build strong relationships, advise on neighborhoods and local culture, research housing and schools, assist with DMV, banking, and other tasks, and create tailored reports using Relocity's software and Google GSuite.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the USA.
• At least 5 years of residency in Portland with knowledge of local rental market and schools.
• Own a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Flexible to dedicate at least 20 hours per week.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with relocating employees to understand needs.
• Advise on neighborhoods, transportation, and local culture.
• Research housing and schools, including rental trends and school ratings.
• Assist with DMV, banking, and other logistics for a smooth move.
• Curate personalized recommendations for social and lifestyle activities.
• Coordinate and lead area tours in person or virtually.
• Maintain ongoing communication with relocating employees and provide updates.
• Serve as the primary contact throughout the relocation journey.
• Manage multiple relocations at different stages with attention to detail.
• Handle administrative tasks and update client records.
