Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements, including NDAs, BAAs, equipment loan agreements, amendments.
• Identify legal and business risks in contracts and elevate issues to supervising attorney(s).
• Support contract negotiations by coordinating with business stakeholders and counterparties.
• Help design updated contract management system for vendor agreements.
• Support efforts to roll-out contract review and management software for commercial agreements.
• Administer the contract lifecycle management process from intake through execution and archiving.
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard contract language.
• Ensure executed agreements are properly stored and maintained in contract repositories.
• Generate reports and metrics related to contract activity and turnaround times.
• Assist with legal department process improvements and documentation initiatives.
• Review and process sponsorship, educational grant, and charitable contribution requests per policies.
• Assist with documentation and recordkeeping related to healthcare compliance activities.
• Serve as a point person who connects with business stakeholders regarding contracting matters.
• Assist attorneys with special projects, audits, investigations, and other legal matters as needed.
