Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a highly organized paralegal to support its Legal department with drafting, reviewing, and administering routine commercial agreements. This remote-based role focuses on NDAs, BAAs, and vendor documents within a regulated healthcare environment.

You will coordinate contract workflows, maintain records, and assist with compliance programs and CLM implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams and supervising attorneys as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy requirements.
• Experience in regulated healthcare/devices/pharma industries.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements (NDAs, BAAs, equipment loan).
• Coordinate contract workflows and maintain contract records.
• Support healthcare compliance processes and related documentation.
• Administer contract lifecycle management from intake to archival.
• Generate reports on contract activity and turnaround times.
• Assist with process improvements and special legal projects.
