Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. seeks a highly organized paralegal to support the Legal department in commercial contracting and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, BAAs, and amendments; administering contract lifecycles, maintaining templates, and generating metrics.

This is a remote-based USA position with DOE; pay range is $73,200 to $117,800 annually.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CLM systems and healthcare privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements including NDAs, BAAs, and amendments.
• Identify risks in contracts and escalate to supervising attorney(s) as appropriate.
• Support contract negotiations by coordinating with business stakeholders and counterparties.
• Administer the contract lifecycle management process from intake through execution and archiving.
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard language.
