Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a highly organized paralegal to support the Legal department with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering routine commercial agreements.

Responsibilities include coordinating contract workflows and maintaining contract records in a regulated industry context. The candidate should have experience with NDAs, BAAs, and healthcare compliance processes, plus strong analytical and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting a regulated industry (healthcare/medical devices).
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy requirements and BAAs.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements (NDAs, BAAs, loan agreements).
• Coordinate contract workflows and support negotiations with stakeholders.
• Design and roll out contract management tools and templates.
• Maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard language.
• Generate reports on contract activity and turnarounds.
• Assist with healthcare compliance documentation and special projects.
