Job summary

Altium Packaging seeks a Business Development Manager to build and grow the Northeast U.S. and Canada territory. This role is remote, with up to 70% travel, and requires fluency in English; Canadian French is a plus.

You will cultivate relationships, expand existing accounts, and target strategic new ones while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable packaging solutions and meet sales targets. Travel to client sites and trade shows is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical sales experience in a complex environment.
• Bachelor degree required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% to visit accounts and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and prospects to form strategic partnerships through sustainable packaging solutions.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and transpose leads to the CRM.
• Attend relevant trade shows as required.
• Develop new and niche opportunities where Altium is first or second to market.
• Lead contract renewals and negotiate contracts for all accounts.
• Support customer service and mentor when required.
• Research market trends and propose ways to maximize sales efforts.
