Job summary

Southern Champion Tray is seeking an Account Manager to drive strategic sales for stock and custom packaging across the US market, with emphasis on distribution accounts and end-user engagement.

The role focuses on growing existing relationships, securing new business, coordinating with distributors, and leading demand generation through targeted outreach, product demonstrations, and trade show participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or similar preferred.
• Five years of sales experience with emphasis on packaging/distribution preferred.
• Experience selling into foodservice, restaurant, grocery, or bakery markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts to achieve growth, hit sales targets, and meet annual budgets.
• Identify and call on key operator end users across restaurant, grocery, c-store, and bakery markets.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and packaging audits for operators and managers.
• Maintain a pipeline of end-user targets and coordinate with distributor sales reps.
• Travel monthly within the territory for tradeshows, sales presentations, and end-user calls.
• Submit pricing, collaborate with marketing, and develop strategic account plans.
• Train distributor reps on product lines and grow SCT business.
