Action Packaging is hiring a National Account Manager to win new business, grow national and strategic accounts, and drive profitable revenue growth. You'll own each customer relationship from first contact through long-term account growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, including account management and strategic selling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to travel up to 25%.
• 1+ year of experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Packaging industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Find, develop and close new business with national retailers and strategic accounts.
• Build and maintain a pipeline using outreach, referrals, trade shows, and research.
• Prepare proposals, respond to RFQs and RFPs, and lead pricing negotiations.
• Create strategic account plans to grow revenue and gross profit.
• Learn each customer's business, brand, buying practices, and packaging needs.
• Grow accounts into more product categories, locations, and divisions.
• Run account reviews on performance and growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with art, production, purchasing, operations, and CS to meet customer needs.
• Recommend packaging solutions balancing branding, performance, budget and sourcing.
• Keep CRM and ERP records accurate with activity, next steps, revenue projections.
• Track results against targets for sales growth and gross profit.
