Datavant is seeking experienced outpatient coders to join our fully remote team. You will review medical records, assign diagnoses and procedures, and ensure accurate coding for hospital data and billing.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hospital coding, Interventional Radiology experience, familiarity with EPIC and 3M/Solventum, and AHIMA/AAPC credentials. This is a full-time remote role with sign-on bonuses available.

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credentialing required (RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC/CPC-H/CIC/CRC).
• Experience in Interventional Radiology is required.
• 2+ years of coding experience in hospital or coding consulting role.
• Proficiency in CPT/ambulatory coding (Same Day Surgery, Observation, Injections/Infusions).
• Experience with EPIC and 3M/Solventum preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign and sequence codes based on documentation.
• Assign discharge dispositions appropriately.
• Abstract and enter coded data for hospital statistics and reporting.
• Communicate coding issues to relevant staff for resolution.
• Maintain high coding accuracy and APC assignment accuracy; meet productivity standards.
