Job summary

Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor to ensure accuracy in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, and HCPCS coding while leading quality reviews across departments.

You will deliver clear audit findings, educate coders and managers, and identify documentation gaps that impact accuracy and reimbursement. This remote, nationwide role requires 5+ years of coding experience and credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal coding program with preference for AHIMA/AAPC credentials.
• 5+ years of progressive professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure coding accuracy.
• Coordinate with department managers to meet policies and standards.
• Deliver educational feedback and guidance on coding issues.
• Identify documentation gaps and opportunities for improvement.
