Signature Performance, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Coding Auditor for a fully remote, nationwide role. You will conduct quality reviews and audits, and coordinate with department managers to ensure coding standards are met according to policy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional medical coding/reimbursement and credentials such as CCS, RHIT, CIC, or CPC, with preference for CPMA. You will create clear audit findings, deliver educational feedback, and support multiple client

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal coding program with AHIMA/AAPC credentials preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive professional medical coding/reimbursement experience.
• National auditing credential preferred or obtainable within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Create clear audit findings and recommendations in written reports.
• Provide education to coders and staff on coding changes and gaps.
• Identify documentation issues impacting coding accuracy and communicate improvements.
• Guide staff in resolving coding issues and trends for improvement.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure standards are met.
