Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking an Account Manager in Oklahoma City to lead the ophthalmics sales efforts within the territory. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and build strong relationships with target healthcare professionals while delivering education-focused messages and clinical data.

The role requires a minimum bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales, and willingness to travel domestically, including overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific field.
• Two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmics.
• Knowledge of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and therapeutic area information.
• Conduct business planning and execution in the assigned territory.
• Increase awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, data, safety and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust patient conversations.
• Achieve call activity, adherence, and financial targets for the territory.
