Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a proactive Regional Sales professional in the United States to educate and engage healthcare professionals in ophthalmology, delivering evidence-based disease-state information and product data. You will work with a regional team to plan and execute business objectives, build strong HCP relationships, and drive performance across your territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
• Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent preferred.
• Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent preferred.
• Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which may include overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages to target HCPs.
• Business planning and execution.
• Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust patient conversations.
• Build HCP knowledge to identify treatment gaps.
• Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and diagnose patient gaps.
• Achieve call activity, adherence targets and financial goals for the territory.
