Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for Ophthalmics in a remote NY setting.

The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and focuses on building strong relationships with target HCPs while delivering MLR-approved, education-focused messages about Sun Ophthalmics products. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience (ophthalmology preferred), and travel as needed.Base pay ranges from $99k to $136k with participation in an

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
• Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent are preferred.
• Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
• Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages, and disease-state information to target HCPs.
• Business planning and execution.
• Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations with patients.
• Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
• Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and help HCPs identify treatment gaps in diagnosed patients.
• Meet call activity, adherence targets, and financial goals for the territory.
