Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics seeks a driven pharmaceutical sales professional to lead key ophthalmic accounts in the U.S. You will present complex scientific information clearly, build trust with HCPs, and drive education-focused conversations within your territory.

The role requires collaboration with a Regional Sales Manager, strategic planning, and achievement of activity and revenue targets in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Knowledge of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care; experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
• Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically as necessary, majority of time in market.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to target HCPs.
• Business planning and execution.
• Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, data, safety and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations and patient education.
• Build HCP knowledge to identify treatment gaps in all domains.
• Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and aid HCPs in diagnosing treatment gaps.
• Meet call activity, adherence targets and financial goals for the territory.
