Sun Ophthalmics is seeking an Account Manager to lead in Newport Beach, CA, delivering scientific education to ophthalmology-focused healthcare professionals. The role emphasizes building trust, clear scientific communication, and strong in-market execution.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Sales Manager and travel domestically as needed. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in pharma sales are required, with ophthalmology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages to target HCPs.
• Business planning and execution.
• Increase awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, data, safety and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to discuss treatment gaps with patients.
• Meet call activity, adherence targets and financial goals for the territory.
