Job summary

The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager and requires strong leadership and relationship-building skills to drive territory performance.

The position emphasizes education, clinical data presentation, and strategy execution in a startup-like environment with domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; scientific background preferred.
• Two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
• Two+ years of specialty pharma experience in ophthalmology preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare institutions and managed care is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel domestically; substantial market presence expected.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information.
• Drive business planning and execution in the territory.
• Increase HCP awareness of products, data, safety and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to discuss treatment gaps with patients.
• Build knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
