Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a results-driven regional sales professional to represent our ophthalmic portfolio. You will deliver education-focused, MLR-approved messages to healthcare professionals, build strong relationships, and drive disease-state knowledge and product awareness within your territory.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, field-based engagement with HCPs, and meeting activity and financial targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
Two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent.
Two+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
Knowledge of healthcare institutions and managed care; experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
Ability to travel domestically, majority of time in market.

Responsibilities

Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to target HCPs.
Business planning and execution.
Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations and patient education.
Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and treatment gaps in diagnosed patients.
Meet call activity and financial goals for the assigned territory.
