Job summary

BCD Travel seeks an Operations Technology Specialist to provide first-line operations and client technology support for virtual agents and in-office staff across the US. This remote role is full-time and focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of tech issues in a global travel environment.

You will partner with internal and external tech teams to perform RCAs, testing, and resolution, while coordinating with virtual employees to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the travel industry.
• Experience with Sabre GDS and online booking tools (OBTs).
• Experience supporting system enhancements, testing, implementations, and operational initiatives.
• Strong understanding of travel management operations, including front-, mid-, and back-office workflows, ticketing, fulfillment, and service delivery.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and drive resolutions.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Follow established processes and collaborate with teams to monitor and resolve technology support cases and provide tracking.
• Partner with internal and external technology teams to perform RCAs, elevate, test, and resolve cases to resolution.
• Work with virtual employees to troubleshoot issues for quick resolution.
• Escalate common issues to other departments for global resolution.
• Communicate effectively to virtual employees to discuss procedures and solutions.
• Manage system status, taking steps to improve performance and reliability per policies.
