Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor for Commercial Lines to provide direct leadership to Account Management staff and oversee day-to-day operations in a remote/hybrid setting.

The role requires deep insurance brokerage knowledge, an active license, and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Competitive pay and benefits are offered with growth opportunities within IOA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes and oversee onboarding.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality and service standards.
• Develop future branch operations leaders through succession planning.
• Manage an assigned book of business and client relationships; support renewals.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing and claims support.
• Lead or support full renewal and new business processes.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate client needs.
