Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Operations Supervisor for Commercial Lines to lead the Account Management team within the branch and oversee day-to-day client service operations.

You will guide performance, ensure policy adherence, support staff development, and manage a book of business while delivering service excellence across the SE region, including remote work arrangements consistent with IOA policy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience or 7+ years in sales/relationship management.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required; professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching.
• Ensure HR policies and processes compliance.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Balance workloads to ensure service continuity.
• Oversee policy administration, billing, and documentation of accuracy.
• Monitor and renew client relationships and service needs.
• Serve as subject matter expert for coverage and service questions.
• Manage a book of business and drive renewal/new business processes.
• Promote IOA culture and engagement.
