Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead Account Management staff at the branch, drive performance and uphold service excellence. The role focuses on managing an assigned book of business, ensuring policy and service accuracy, and coordinating client renewals and new business activity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry (or 7+ years in related sales/relationship roles), active licensing, strong analytical and customer service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management.
• Active insurance license required.
• Professional designations preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead Account Management staff and ensure performance against standards.
• Promote IOA culture and drive team engagement.
• Support staff training and development.
• Develop future branch operations leaders and succession plans.
• Oversee HR policies, onboarding and evaluations.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and onboarding.
• Balance workloads to ensure service continuity.
• Ensure data integrity across agency and carrier systems.
• Manage an assigned book of business and renewals.
• Provide subject matter expertise for coverage and service questions.
• Support renewals and new business processes with client focus.
