Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in business operations or a closely related field.
• Full understanding of business operations and ability to resolve a wide range of issues creatively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and develop project plans accounting for staffing.
• Proven ability to identify and proactively address staffing or talent issues.
• Strong analytical skills, including interpreting trends and metrics into action.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with moderate oversight and collaborate across functions.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Project management experience or certification (PMP).
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage daily business operations so workflows run smoothly and on schedule.
• Execute operational plans within assigned areas of the organization.
• Resolve a wide range of operational issues with creative, solution-based approaches.
• Develop, document, and implement policies and procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor, evaluate, and refine existing processes, procedures, and systems.
• Analyze operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and carry out improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects or programs from planning through completion.
• Build project plans that account for staffing, timelines, and dependencies.
• Lead small projects or portions of larger initiatives.
• Identify, track, and report on key performance metrics and prepare leadership dashboards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Present complex information clearly to varied audiences.
• Identify and address staffing issues to protect project delivery.
• Provide guidance and informal mentorship to less experienced team members.
