Job summary

Awenasa Home Inc in Millis, MA is seeking a Manager/Assistant Administrator to lead a 10-15 person team at a long-term care facility, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with nurses and doctors, manage medications and records, and handle HR tasks; on-call 24/7 is required, with payroll and supply management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in human services functions; 3-5 years in supervisory capacity.
• 5 years experience in rest home, assisted living, home health, long term care, or hospital industries; behavior modification experience
• CNA/LPN qualification or Pharmacy Technician experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Competent in organizational, time management, problem solving and decision making skills
• All candidates must pass CORI, professional reference, and possibly fingerprinting and driving record checks

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 10-15 caregivers, kitchen and housekeeping staff; hire, train, schedule and supervise.
• Manage resident medications, clinical records and clinical appointments; coordinate with Nurse and Doctors; EMR experience a plus.
• Oversee policies, procedures and compliance; manage payroll and supplies; assist with budgeting and audits.
• On-call availability 24/7; ensure safety and high-quality resident care across departments.
