Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living in Providence, RI seeks an RN Manager for Assisted Living to lead nursing staff and coordinate clinical care for residents in a beautiful historic building. This full‑time day shift role emphasizes compassionate leadership, resident wellbeing, and regulatory compliance.

The RN Manager will oversee care plans, medication administration, and 90‑day assessments, while collaborating with the Director of Resident Care and Administrator to maintain high quality services.

Qualifications

• Must interact effectively with residents, family members, staff and physicians.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• State permits administration of medications.
• State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism with residents, family members and staff.
• Make accurate clinical decisions during changes in residents’ status.
• Carry out requests from the Director of Resident Care and Administrator.
• Keep leadership informed of resident status and related matters.
• Assist with service plans and update them.
• Delegate assignments to staff and update them as needed.
• Conduct rounds of resident apartments.
• Administer medications and document accordingly.
• Complete 90‑day assessments as directed.
• Review medication sheets and transcribe orders as needed.
• Perform non‑sterile treatments as ordered.
• Maintain resident records for accuracy and compliance.
• Complete incident reports and notify families, physicians and leadership.
• Assist in the clinic as needed and with on‑call duties.
• Monitor nursing staff schedules and assist with evaluations.
