Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. seeks an Operations Supervisor – Commercial Lines to lead the Account Management team, ensure service excellence, and drive operational efficiency within the branch. You will guide performance, support staff development, and manage an assigned book of business.

The role combines senior-level client service with process improvement, HR compliance, and renewal/new business support, in a remote-friendly environment with Florida-focused considerations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience; or 7+ years in sales, marketing or relationship management
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required
• Professional designations preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Lead Account Management staff and provide coaching and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Monitor and interpret performance data and take action as needed.
• Manage an assigned book of business.
• Serve as SME for coverage and service questions.
• Oversee policy administration, placement, billing, claims support, and documentation of accuracy.
