Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring an Operational Forecasting Associate to join our Workforce Management team. You will build and maintain forecasts for resourcing and financial planning across production teams, partnering with stakeholders to align models with business objectives.

This fully remote role is open to candidates in the United States (Dallas area included). You will work with tools like Workday, Jira, BigQuery and Looker, reporting to the Associate Director, Workforce Management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated work in operations forecasting.
• 2+ years of demonstrated work with large datasets and distill analyses into insights with a structured approach.
• 2+ years experience in SQL, with ability to filter, aggregate, and build CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python, including Pandas and analytical tests.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, around business reporting impact and requirements.
• 1+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including VLookup, nested if statements, and connected Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for volumetric demand and resourcing; support budget estimates based on forecasts.
• Collaborate with stakeholder teams to ensure forecast models align with business objectives.
• Source data from data teams and refine analyses as needed.
• Learn the business and support planning discussions with stakeholders.
• Use tools like Workday, Jira, BigQuery, Looker to analyze data and present findings clearly.
