Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Operational Forecasting Associate to join our Workforce Management team. The role emphasizes forecasting, planning analyses to optimize resourcing and financial planning for production teams within Oscar.

You will report into the Associate Director, Workforce Management. This is a remote position open to candidates who reside in Dallas, Texas, with potential future hybrid work at the metro area hub.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated work in operations forecasting.
• 2+ years working with large datasets and distilling analyses into insights.
• 2+ years experience in SQL with filters, aggregations and CTEs (or Python/R).
• Strong communication skills for business reporting and requirements.
• 1+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel (VLOOKUP, nested IFs, connected sheets).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for demand and resourcing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecast models with objectives.
• Source data from teams and refine analyses as needed.
• Learn the business and support planning discussions with stakeholders.
• Use tools like Workday, Jira, BigQuery and Looker to inform decisions.
• Tell data-driven stories in clear, concise ways for non-technical audiences.
• Manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work on time.
