Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring an Operational Forecasting Associate to join our Workforce Management team. This remote role will execute forecasting and planning analyses to optimize resourcing and financial planning for production teams.

You will report to the Associate Director, Workforce Management and collaborate with data, analytics, and business stakeholders. Proficiency with SQL, R or Python, pandas, Looker, BigQuery, and tools like Workday and Jira is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations forecasting.
• 2+ years handling large datasets and extracting insights.
• 2+ years with SQL or proficiency in R or Python.
• Strong communication skills for business reporting.
• 1+ years with Google Sheets or Excel (VLookup and connected Sheets).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for volumetric demand and resourcing; support budgeting.
• Align forecast models with business objectives and changes.
• Source data and refine analyses with data teams.
• Learn the business and support planning discussions with stakeholders.
• Learn and use tools like Workday, Jira, BigQuery, Looker.
• Tell data stories and present findings clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Collaborate across the organization and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Own insights generation for a major business unit and support Sr. Managers and Directors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support other strategic projects as assigned.
