Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking an Operational Forecasting Associate to join the Workforce Management team on a fully remote basis, with location eligibility for Dallas, Texas. The role focuses on building and maintaining forecasts for staffing and financial planning, collaborating with stakeholders and data teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.

You will report to the Associate Director, Workforce Management, and leverage tools like Workday, Jira, BigQuery and Looker to deliver data-driven insights

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated work in operations forecasting.
• 2+ years of demonstrated work with large datasets and distill analyses into insights with structured thinking.
• 2+ years experience in SQL, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas, for loops and tests.
• 1+ years experience with Google Sheets or Excel, using VLOOKUP and nested functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed operational forecasts for volumetric demand and resourcing.
• Align forecast models with business objectives and changes.
• Source data and refine analyses with data teams.
• Take ownership of insights generation for a major business unit and present findings.
