Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a scheduling coordinator to support specialty service lines. This role involves coordinating care with the care team and patients, completing comprehensive intake, and ensuring accurate registration and scheduling.

You will communicate with providers on urgent issues and document processes in Epic. The position is remote for Minnesota residents, requires 1 year of scheduling/registration experience in healthcare and 2 years of customer service, and offers a

Ability to work with care teams and departments to coordinate scheduling.

Responsibilities

Coordinate care/information with care team and/or patient.
Complete intake with data to assure registration and scheduling; verify insurance coverage.
Collaborate with supervisors and leaders to follow laws, policies, and standards.
Work with clinic team to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately and timely.
Contact providers regarding urgent issues requiring timely action.
Create and maintain documentation.
Document scheduling and/or referral process in Epic for teams to view.
