Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical training may substitute for degree where appropriate.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling or registration is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Acquires consent for records and authorizations from patients and payers.
• Communicates with patients, staff and physicians regarding decisions.
• Schedules services, tests, and follow-up visits per doctor orders.
• Produces accurate schedules and related reports.
• Updates schedule changes and monitors discharge communication with physicians.
• Answers multiple telephone lines and assists callers promptly.
• Coordinates patient schedules across multiple departments.
