Job summary

The position focuses on coordinating schedules based on doctor orders, handling consent and authorization processes, and maintaining timely communication with patients and referring physicians.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical training expected.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Acquires vital consent for medical records and authorizations.
• Coordinates scheduling of tests, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Produces efficient schedules and related reports.
• Registers patient information and maintains accurate records.
• Manages multi-line telephone coverage and responsive service.
• Collaborates with department to coordinate patient schedules across areas.
