Job summary

Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist to engage with customers in the Charleston, South Carolina area, educate stakeholders about oncology products, and drive sales within the territory. The role requires travel to meet customers in person and attend national sales meetings and conferences.

You will collaborate with Territory counterparts, understand practice models, and build trusted relationships to uncover customer needs and deliver value through our oncology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of sales experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years of oncology field-based sales experience.
• 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Build relationships with customers by understanding practice structure and key influencers.
• Communicate a patient-centered rationale for our oncology products to customers.
• Understand cancer pathways and treatment options to inform customers.
