Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Director – Oncology Provider to expand the company’s specialty footprint among community-based oncology practices across a defined geography.

This remote, Director-level individual contributor will lead new business development, build strategic relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in drug distribution and technology for oncology providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account management experience
• Experience within oncology physician offices
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull through
• Ability to travel 50% within the territory
• Strong executive presence with cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Identify/target, build pipeline and close new business in defined geography
• Respond to hot leads to generate interest and opportunities
• Develop proposals with deal modeling, finance and proposal teams
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive customers
• Manage executive relationships with professionals
• Develop territory business plans and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Mentor junior sales team members
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry events
• Develop key relationships with pharmaceutical companies for mutual benefit
• Other duties as assigned
