Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Director – Oncology Provider to expand our specialty footprint in community oncology offices across a defined geography. This remote, director-level role partners with Sales Executives, KAMs and Inside Sales to build a strong Cardinal Health network.

The incumbent will travel up to 50% within the West half of the United States, developing customer relationships, leading proposals, and mentoring junior sales staff while delivering industry-leading presentations

Qualifications

• Eight years of healthcare sales and complex account management experience, including oncology physician office.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull through.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify/target, build pipeline and close new business for newly contracted customers.
• Respond to hot leads from Marketing or GPO initiatives to generate interest.
• Collaborate with deal modeling, finance and proposal team to develop proposals and execute new business.
• Deliver well designed, compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with a myriad of professionals.
• Develop territory business plans; communicate real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate professional development, stay current with industry changes.
• Mentor junior members of the sales team.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry events and build key pharma relationships.
