Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Director – Oncology Provider to expand our specialty footprint in community-based oncology practices. This remote role covers the West half of the United States, with up to 50% travel and leadership of a regional sales team.

The candidate will build strategic relationships, close new business, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated solutions. The role reports to the Director, Sales and Business Development and requires a strong track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management, with at least three years in oncology physician offices.
• Experience with oncology provider office business, contracting, and GPO pull-through.
• Strong planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.
• Travel up to 50% within the territory; work from home when not traveling.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new business with newly contracted customers; maintain pipeline in Salesforce.
• Respond to hot leads to generate interest and opportunities.
• Collaborate with deal modeling, finance and proposal team to develop proposals and close deals.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships across professionals.
• Develop territory business plans and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior sales team members.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry events and associations.
• Develop relationships with pharmaceutical company counterparts for mutual benefit.
