Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Director – Oncology Provider to expand the specialty footprint in community-based oncology practices across the West half of the United States. This remote, director-level contributor role partners with the broader sales team to win new physician practice customers and maintain a robust pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience preferred; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management experience, including at least three years within oncology physician office.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull through.
• Strong planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify/target, build pipeline and close new business for newly contracted customers; maintain a pipeline in Salesforce and become a market expert within geography.
• Respond to hot leads from Marketing or GPO initiatives to generate interest and lead to opportunity.
• Collaborate with deal modeling, finance and proposal team to develop proposals and new business; provide market feedback.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships across professionals.
• Develop territory business plans; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in sales training programs and mentor junior team members.
• Represent Cardinal Health at industry associations and events.
• Develop key relationships with pharmaceutical company counterparts.
• Other duties as assigned.
