Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the primary contact for consented patients and caregivers in the Oncology portfolio. You will educate, enroll, and support patients and provider offices through enrollment, coverage, and reimbursement processes while ensuring HIPAA and compliance guidelines are followed.

This field-based role requires 3+ years in access/reimbursement and up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or related areas.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff on oncology access and enrollment.
• Educate on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies using approved materials.
• Assist in access case resolution and explain benefit investigation outcomes to offices.
• Identify barriers and escalate to specialist access and leadership when needed.
• Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud and ensure data integrity.
