Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager to serve as the field-based SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCPs in the US Oncology portfolio. You will guide onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment journeys, while handling coverage, coding, and payment questions after a prescribing decision is made.

You will educate providers on payer policies, support enrollment in GSK services, and coordinate with specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, and back-office Benefits Specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience programs, or related access roles.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff, providing education on oncology care and coverage.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies for GSK Oncology products.
• Support access case resolution at the office level, explaining benefit investigation outcomes and prior authorization processes.
• Identify and escalate access and reimbursement barriers to the specialist access function and leadership.
• Document interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM per program standards.
• Maintain high standards of HIPAA privacy and compliance.
