Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Patient Access Manager (PAM) to serve as the field-based SPOC guiding oncology patients through onboarding, access, and ongoing treatment journeys within the territory. You will address coverage, reimbursement, and program enrollment while coordinating with providers and back-office teams.

The PAM educates patients and providers on benefits, prior authorization, and available GSK Patient Support Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in field reimbursement, hub case management, or related areas.
• Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SPOC for patients, caregivers, and HCP staff with approved information on oncology care and benefits.
• Educate patients on coverage outcomes, cost-sharing, and financial assistance options.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, and payment policies using approved materials.
• Support access case resolution and explain benefit investigation outcomes and prior authorization requirements.
• Document interactions in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM and maintain compliant records.
• Escalate complex payer issues to the specialist access function and leadership.
